Experimental investigation of a quantum battery using star-topology NMR spin systems

Theoretical explorations have revealed that quantum batteries can exploit correlations to achieve faster charging, thus promising exciting applications in future technologies. Using NMR architecture, here we experimentally investigate various aspects of with the help nuclear spin systems a star-topology configuration. We first carry out numerical analysis study how charging battery depends on relative purity factors charger and spins. By characterizing state undergoing estimate energy as well ergotropy, maximum amount work is unitarily available for extraction. The experimental results obtained establish advantage battery. propose using advantage, gained via among chargers battery, measure estimating size correlated cluster. develop simple iterative method realize asymptotic avoids oscillatory behavior discharging. Finally, introduce load charger-battery-load circuit demonstrate consumption after varying duration storage, up 2 min.
